Welcome to the Powerful, New and Feature Rich website of the UK Unemployment Movement. Included are features to Blog, Discuss (Forum) & Chat as well as Social Networking features where you can set up a Personal Profile or if you want, there is an opportunity to set up a Group; from like-minded members.

Our message here is simple and powerful; the start of which you can archive by joining us and sending a message of hope to others and an even louder message to politicians, newspaper editors & job scheme agencies that we will no longer be abused by them.

As a social network our goal is to get people talking; about their experiences on the dole, on benefits etc. Our end objective is the realisation that `We do not have to put up with the Abuse reported on so often` and as part of that Big Society the conservatives were so eager to push, look to decide what rules we feel are fair & just.

The admin team believe these already exist (Human Rights), if only the government would follow them. In a Forum thread this idea is taken in a different direction for such as an `English Bill of Rights`. Here you decide and here we make change possible! We the unemployed are not feckless, lazy, irresponsible or child molesters as one paper branded us, we are the engine that makes possible society and will take charge of our welfare needs.     

If you’ve looked over the website and thought `WELL this is pretty empty`, off course it is `Its New`. So let’s do the arithmetic; If you ask ten people you know to Join and they ask another ten people to join we are going to have one hell of an argument going on these boards in no time. The next question of course is do you have anything to lose by doing this? Well maybe, your reputation for being a Lazy Layabout.

Off course the Unemployment Movement does not just except the unemployed (we can’t ask you to show your signing on card) but we do ask that generally those that aren’t, agree with the movements objectives, even if they belong to the conservative party (alright Dave). Talking about Politicians; if you think you have an argument bring it on and to Job Scheme Agencies, try your tricks here and you will be swatted.

In fact here and now the movement would like to send out an invitation to all those professionals who think they can help us here. We need sound advice on the Law as well as International Law. We also need benefit advisors with an in depth knowledge. Off course we are completely broke right now so need fund raiser to help pay for a movement that has a large family to care for.

Our website family here will forever be evolving as new voices stretch our imagination to think of the ridiculous as normal but we are sure of some basic boundaries’ that are set in stone; basically if you a complete racist dickhead, you can forget launching any campaign here otherwise if you are just basically a bully, dictator or here to spam you will be immediately deleted from the membership.
