Ed Miliband says he is a Socialist???????? 26 Nov 2010 22:27 #13

I am weeping over this article as ED declares his undying love of the middle classes and have been reminded of a video I just posted of George Carlin and his remarks on politicians is quite appropriate “Garbage in, Garbage out”, says it all about a politician and union membership that voted this dead duck in as a SOCIALIST LEADER.. LOL

Ed Miliband says he is a socialist but failed to join marchers because he was 'doing something else'

Labour leader Ed Miliband has declared "I am a socialist" and disclosed that he was "tempted" to join the student protesters this week demonstrating over the rise in tuition fees.

In yesterday's Daily Telegraph, Mr Miliband pledged to put the "hopes" of the "squeezed" middle classes at the heart of a review of policy to be announced today.
Later his spokesman said the commitment to socialism was on every Labour membership card.

Mr Miliband would also not be attending any marches, nor the TUC's rally against the cuts in Hyde Park next year. She said: "He will concentrate on holding David Cameron and Nick Clegg to account in the House of Commons."

In September Mr Miliband told union leaders that he would join them on a protest against the cuts on October 19, the day before the Comprehensive Spending Review.

He told 400 delegates, including union leaders such as the GMB's Paul Kenny and Unite's Tony Woodley: "Yes I will attend the rally. We are not fated to sit here and watch our communities wrecked for the next five years."

In the event he did not attend because, his spokesman said, he was not invited.

Will he or Won’t he? Disipine John Mcdonnell.

Labour leadership challenged to act against left-winger over Student riots.

Ed Miliband, the Labour leader, is under pressure to discipline a left-wing backbencher who has called for direct action to bring the Coalition down.

The very public sociologist has a take on the Mcdonnell story and it needs airing.... but please `Pitiful`, Ed Milliband is a cunning politician, the kind you find in Blackadder and probably even blanker.

Between Protest and Parliament

In calling for John McDonnell's head, Ed Miliband should have told Warsi where to get off. If the unelectable fears the ungovernable, that's her problem. But instead of standing up to this blatant attempt at driving a wedge between Labour and the burgeoning student movement Ed just rolled over. According to the same report McDonnell "will be spoken to by the opposition whips office". Pitiful.
