Could Wikileaks Crash the Global Economy?
30 Nov 2010 22:48 #29
An interview by the Forbes website of `Wikileaks` founder Julian Assange has revealed he is preparing a `Mega Leak` of critical information on the state of one of the World’s Major Banks next year.
Revealed is what; “You could call the ecosystem of corruption. But it’s also all the regular decision making that turns a blind eye to and supports unethical practices: the oversight that’s not done, the priorities of executives, how they think they’re fulfilling their own self-interest and the way they talk about it.”
Speculation is now rife that this could be the final nail in the coffin of the world banking system which will trigger financial Armageddon as the world’s economies have already virtually bankrupted themselves by bailing out their bankrupt banks and therefore are not in any shape to embark up on a new series of mega bailouts as a consequence of any new information released.
As can be seen from Irelands exposure to the vagaries of the bond markets, the financial markets will not wait for explanations but seek to act immediately to discount the risks implied by new exposures, which given the size of the $1.4 Quadrillion global derivatives market, would not take much in terms of further off balance sheet losses exposure to trigger a collapse of the whole global financial system that no country will be big enough to bail out.
As it has just been a matter of time before this would have happened, we recommend our readers start stocking up on dried foodstuffs before the shit hit the fan!

As we’ve learnt today Julian Assange has been put on Interpol’s most wanted list for the rape of two women, but what is the truth as these charges were dropped.
Here Are The "Sex Crimes" Interpol Wants Julian Assange Arrested For
At least as the Sydney Herald's Asher Moses tells it, there's not much in the stories about forced sex or "molestation" or politically-driven hit jobs. Mostly it's about two Julian Assange fans annoyed that the rock star Wikileaks founder charmed their pants off and then bolted.

ABC News (America) goes hyper over how the U.S. Government in its termination to get there Man, they will try everything. The US effectively banning the website `Wikileaks` from hosting anywhere; Pravda get in on the fray, accusing the US of stifling a free press and the high court in Pakistan dismisses an attempt to ban this site.
Now we hear of calls to assassinate Assange from high officials in the Canadian Government. Guess this one was coming but not so openly, as thought Assange would have an accident.
Updates to the Wikileaks saga.
First Amazon pulled the plug and stopped hosting the site. Then it went back up, as it was hosted by a company in Europe, presumably this one.
Now a new problem: It's US-based DNS provider EveryDNS has pulled the plug, all the DDOS attacks.
The site can be reached by going directly to its DNS number: 88.80.13.160.
The News at the Guardian Newspaper who are in contact with Assange:
WikiLeaks fights to stay online after US Company withdraws domain name
Everydns.net says attack against leaks site endangered other customers' service – effectively pushing site off the web
The US was today accused of opening up a dramatic new front against WikiLeaks, effectively "killing" its web address just days after Amazon pulled the site from its servers following political pressure.
The whistleblowers' website went offline for the third time in a week this morning, in the biggest threat to its online presence yet.
Joe Lieberman, chairman of the Senate's committee on homeland security, earlier this week called for any organisation helping sustain WikiLeaks to "immediately terminate" its relationship with them.
So what are we left with, a good listen to this and you might think yeah!
